Half Time: Hammers 0 Spurs 1

|

The Hammers started brightly with Grady Diangana at the heart of all that was good about them.

The youngster made some dazzling runs, cutting inside and causing all sorts of problems but once again the killer touch was missing.

But Spurs  went ahead with virtually their first move of the game after 16 minutes when Llorente controls the long clearance and found Eriksen.

His ball inside was cut out by Ogbonna, but only as far as Alli who allowed to get Son in behind who smacked it home into the top corner.

Masuaku, allows Son to get free down the right. He crosses low, Diop clears as far as Eriksen, whose first-time shot is then blocked by the Frenchman.
Masuaku then cut out an attempted  through ball for Son, or else the scorer as the visitors continued to look very menacing.
Chicharito did particularly well when he found Antonio but his right foot shot flew wide as the Irons tried to find a way back.
Ten minutes later Michael fire in a shot which was bundled around the upright before Chicharito looped a shot into the keeper’s arms.
