Half Time: Irons 1 Gooners 0

|

The nerve endings were showing with both teams during a first half which never caught fire but thank God for Angelo Ogbonna.

The central defender arrived for a Fornals dink in forcing a header home which deflected off a Gunners defender and into the back of the nit.

It was VAR checked as there was apparently the suspicion of an arm involved but that certainly never showed up and the Irons  went into the break with a lead they just about deserved.

As a spectacle however this was a non event and that was almost solely down to the form of two sides which has been nothing less than shocking over the past several weeks.

Antonio playing in Pellegrini’s strange one up obsession was far livelier than Haller had been and saw an early shot go well over the bar whilst Arsenal saw an opportunity go the same way.

The majority of Hammers attacking efforts came down the left where Anderson was always prominent and part from an early booking Snoddy was forever energetic.

Declan Rice is enjoying a good game in midfield along with Nobes and there was one fine save from Martin as Pepe crossed into the well known corridor of uncertainty

Thank God I did not pay £140 plus train fares for this rubbish. Why is our Brazilian worse than other teams Brazillians.
