Seb Haller’s move to Ajax could see the Dutch club’s Lassina Traore move in the opposite direction!
There is new media coverage suggesting he could be on his way to the London Stadium despite the club claiming he was an “unsellable”at one point
De Telegraaf, via Sport Witness, had claimed that the Irons initiated contact with the 20-year-old, who has scored seven goals in 11 games for the Amsterdam club this season.
The Dutch club claimed at the time that he was deemed an unsellable asset by the club but Haller’s arrival may have changed things.
One player’s exit could have opened the door to an arrival, then, with De Telegraaf journalist Kenneth Perez claiming that Ajax could well look to move the Burkina Faso international on in order to recoup the money they have spent to sign Haller from the Irons.
Quoted by Sport Witness, having spoken to Soccer News, Perez said: “It would be gold if some crazy English club put down twenty million for that Traore. That wouldn’t surprise me. Then I have Haller’s money back.”
This isn’t them saying that the Hammers will definitely make a move, of course, but Traore is a promising prospect.
At the age of 20, he already has 12 goals in 29 senior games for the Eredivisie club.
