Haller, Ogbonna, Masuaku updates

West Ham are optimistic that Angelo Ogbonna will be fit to return for the game against Chelsea next Wednesday evening but there remain doubts over Sebastian Haller.

The news surrounding the striker is that he is fighting off a pulled groin and is not expected to be ready until the game against Burnley.

Ogbonna is now fully fit physically and the manager is likely to use him from the start against the Blues as he bids to avert another damaging defeat.

Fabian Balbuena was used on Tuesday against Spurs but a fit Ogbonna would immediately replace the Paraguayan.

Meanwhile, Arthur Masuaku is also reported to be suffering from his own groin injury and remains uncertain for the match next Wednesday.

That makes it difficult for the manager to find a replacement for the out of touch Felipe Anderson particularly as Nathan Holland too is carrying a problem and has only recently returned to training on grass.

  1. Enter lockdown with our best center back this season and only recognized striker. Come out of lockdown , ready for a relegation battle without either. Mickey Mouse , circus club that needs relegation and new owners. Its laughable!!

  2. What we have learnt so far is that with Antonio up front ploughing a lone furrow we are toothless up front.Surely Silva deserves a run out.

  3. We are done without a proper centre-forward. As much as I love Antonio, he is not a centre-forward, and should he be employed in that role again …. we are done.
Why Moyes does not use Xander Silva, is beyond understanding and words. All the top sides are using their youngsters who are producing wonder performances. And why not bring Nathan Holland back?
Come on Moyes, change your ideas, or get out !!!

  4. Antonio left wing Yarmo centre Bowen right?
