Haller’s first Hammers game reaction

Sebastien Haller’s first words – although there were few of them – were very good news indeed for all Hammers fans and his team-mates.

The club’s record signing may have been disappointed at seeing a remarkable double save prevent his first goal for the club in the 1-0 victory at Craven Cottage this afternoon.

But  he obviously enjoyed himself as demonstrated in his first tweet since arriving at the London Stadium.

It’s naturally going to take him time to settle in but his first reaction was important after appearing for an hour during the game before being subbed.

He demonstrated that he has great line leading qualities and links the play well – a goal would have been the icing on the cake – but it wasn’t to be …on this occasion.

It took nothing away from his afternoon and soon afterwards took to Twitter to declare Sébastien Haller @HallerSeb First game @WestHamUtd  good feelings.
