Haller’s missing link looking for rapid return

Michail Antonio’s much needed return has been picked up widely on the ClaretandHugh forum where followers are making it clear that he is the missing Seb Haller link.

Manuel Pellegrini has been criticised for leaving the striker without a partner but without Antonio he has a difficult task finding the right player to link with him.

Antonio’s pace has been badly missed in the Hammers displays over the last month in particular and Tony has called for patience among the fans pointing out how badly Antonio has been missed alongside him.

The player, however, is reported to be ahead of schedule in his recovery programme and could even be back by the end of November or early December.

In the meantime regular forum  contributor Good Old Daze declared: I’m sure if TC is a regular reader of C&H he will know there are plenty of us who have always recognised the value of Michail Antonio to the first team.

To think some reckoned he should have been sold in the summer!

That would have been yet another bargain for Palace. He was always going to be a big miss after the injury and I’ve no doubt things will improve when he is fit and well again.

And when Fabianski is back, we’ll be all set to be unbeaten until the end of the season … COYI
