Hammer admits there have been no contract new talks

|

Andriy Yarmolenko has admitted that there have been no new contract talks at West Ham and that he is 95 per cent certain to be on his way this summer.

Yarmo became a cult hero at the club since he scored a 112th minute goal against Sevilla following the Russian invasion of his homeland.

Prior to that he had been an irregular first team performer and took plenty of stick on his rare appearances.

Now, however, he will be remembered for one of the most emotional  moments of this or any other season and he was responsible to for a goal against Villa which drew a massive ovation from home and away supporters alike.

It will be one of his greatest memories as he moves on admitting to UA Tribuna that there is interest from La Liga and Serie A.

The former Bundesliga star is ready for what will almost certainly be the last chapter of his career admitting: “I think that 95 per cent, I will leave.

“West Ham have the option of an extension (on my contract) for another year. But no one contacted me about this. I look forward to their decision in the next week or two.

“If not, my agent will deal with the issue of my future employment. We’ll see what the options are.”

“Teams from the Turkish Championship and teams, let’s say, from warm countries (are interested).  “Saudi Arabia. There are options from Spain and Italy too, but I still think I have not decided. It doesn’t really matter where I end up.

“Before the war, I thought about returning to Dynamo Kiev. Now, no one knows what will happen to the country in general. If there is no championship, then where can I return to?

“If I have to choose between money and a club that gave me everything, I would choose the club.”
