Hammer does it again

Mikey Antonio has done it again.

He has continued his sensational club form into the CONCACAF international competition for his adopted country Jamaica.

He scored an with an absolutely eye-popping shot for the Reggae Boys which levelled 1-1 with USA in World Cup qualifying on Tuesday in Kingston.

The 31-year-old has now scored in back-to-back World Cup qualifiers following his goal in a 1-1 draw with El Salvador on Friday.

Antonio sidestepped Tyler Adams’ move back into position and used that brief opening to launch a 22 yard missile outside the box and over the goalkeeper.

Antonio has nine goals and four assists for West Ham and Jamaica this season between the Premier League and Europa League and his national team.

West Ham fans were worried when his Jamaican teammates jumped on him as they did last Friday but they need not worry as Antonio came through the game injury free and ready to make his 4,700 mile trip back to London.
