Hammer Fornals refuses new deal

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

As many of us feared Pablo Fornals has no intention of staying at West Ham beyond the end of this season!

The No 8 has an option attached to his current deal but has made it clear to the manager that he has no intention of signing it.

As we have reported over the last 24 hours he looks likely to be on his way back to Spain where Sevilla in particular are keen to sign him on  a pre contract in January.

The club has made it clear to Claret and Hugh exclusively that unless the midfielder has a big change of heart they have no chance of keeping him at the London Stadium.

The player has slipped right down the pecking order and is finding it impossible to command a starting place with so many strong signings having been made.

Our key source told us exclusively: “He has an option. Sadly he won’t renew, so he’ll be gone next summer unless he changes his mind.”
