Mo Kudus is set to go missing for up to six games soon after we have signed him given his possible near certain six game AFCON involvement.
Sadly for us, Ghana are expected to go far in the tournament, and as it stands at the moment our new signing could possibly miss the half a dozen games starting with West Ham’s FA Cup third round tie on the weekend of January 6th.
Depending on Ghana’s progress in the competition, he could miss Premier League games against Sheffield United, Bournemouth, Manchester United, Arsenal and possibly Nottingham Forest
Also he will probably be given a few days rest before he would be available for selection again.
We will also be missing Nayef Aguerd (Morocco), Said Benrahma (Algeria) and Maxwel Cornet (Ivory Coast) for the tournament.
It’s a blow but if you sign top player one has to expect this sort of thing to emerge.
