CandHExclusive: Kudus was Steidten’s choice

West Ham definitely have Tim Steidten to thank for the arrival of exciting Mohamed Kudus  club during the summer.

The recruitment scenario took on a different  perspective with the technical director’s arrival and Claret and Hugh has reported in the past that he is keen to bring younger players to the club.

Twenty-three year old Kudus will be the first of them and in fairness to manager David Moyes there was no argument from him and he has been quick to integrate the  midfielder into the side as soon as possible.

Yes, there may have been differences of opinions among the the manager and Steidten but Kudus is very much approved by both and it would be strange were the technical director not wanted to make an immediate impact with his picks.

A key source explained to us that the player was very keenly discussed by hom and that he was his pick.

Having also acted with David Sullivan on the Jarrod Bowen seven year deal it’s very easy to see how Steidten is becoming such an important influence at West Ham,
