Hammer looks all set for move

Hammer Aaron Creswell’s reported move to Wolves is looking increasingly likely.

According to ExWHUEmployee Ham have been tracking a younger left back who plays in the French Ligue 1 as a replacement.

Cresswell

Cress has been a fantastic servant and is the last of Sam Allardyce’s signings who brought him in from Ipswich Town for £3.75million in 2014.

He has gone on to make over 330 appearances for the club, earning three England caps on the way, culminating in the Europa Conference League win over Fiorentina.

His contract was due to end this summer but the 33-year-old signed a 12 month extension to keep him at the club until June 2024 which has of coyrse allowed the club to get a small fee for him.

Wolves are said to be looking to pay around £2.5million for the vastly experienced full-back and it appears a deal to suit both parties with Cressy getting improved terms and longer contract.

Last January former Hammer Craig Dawson joined Wolves on a two-and-a-half-year contract on a  £3.3m transfer fee and went on to make 17 appearances in the second half of the season.
