Hammer of Year poll underway

Claretandhugh has this morning launched its Hammer of the Year poll and the choice has never been harder!

Will it be perhaps the club’s most popular player – keeper Adrian who will be forever remembered as the man whose penalty won the FA Cup replay against Everton quiote apart from some remarkable saves.

Aaron Cresswell – a near regular – at £3.5 million upfront plus add ons has been a fantastic signing or could it be that a loan player in the shape of Carl Jenkinson will win.

Diafra Sakho and Cheik Kouyate have enjoyed remarkable first signing and a host of others are in the running.

  1. Cress got my vote, I think he’s mustard 😉
Well done for creating the Poll btw, I’d like to see a similar one for who we would like as next seasons manager, Wenger gets my vote 🙂

  2. Whinger would want too much money & big transfer budget to boot. Hate to admit it but the gunners are a bigger club than us, can’t see him wanting to come to east london. Maybe in a couple of years if we can push on like planned.
I know we have to be ambitious & I am excited about the future, don’t want us to over over stretch ourselves financially. Isn’t it part of the agreement of going to OS that we are debt free?

    • See what your saying mate but when SA took over, he was the 13th highest paid manager in the world, higher than managers from Ath;Madrid, Juve, Monaco etc etc and we were in the Championship at the time with much higher debts
