By Sean Whetstone

Hammer Lucas Paqueta has called out Talksport presenter Alex Crook  by replying to reports about his unhappiness at West Ham as ‘fake news’

Crook speaking to Jim White on the national radio station reeled off a list of players who allegedly want out including Gianluca Scamacca, Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell before adding Lucas Paqueta’s name into the mix.

Crook told White “I am told that even Paqueta, one of the stars of last season maybe  isn’t entirely enamoured with life at West Ham, so this is a really concerning state of events at West Ham’

When the claims were repeated by an account called West Ham Report on social media  X formally called Twitter, Paqueta’s admin took to reply

To the claims of  “Lucas Paquetá is unhappy at West Ham” the personal account  of the Hammer replied ‘Fake news‘ with a flashing red light icon.

Paqueta has been regularly linked with a move to Newcastle United but appears to have made his position clear.
