Hammer poised to join Coventry City

|

BrowneCoventry City are poised to sign Marcus Browne on loan from West Ham. Sky Blues representatives were in attendance as the attacking midfielder starred for West Ham U23s against Wolves in December.

The player has also been in contact with Coventry City’s Jodi Jones on Twitter, sparking speculation they could be teammates in the not too distant future.

Coventry have already established a link with the Hammers after bringing Lewis Page to the Ricoh Arena, on a similar short-term deal in August.

Browne featured for the West Ham U23s against City in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier in the season. The pacy midfielder has progressed through the Academy ranks at West Ham. The 19 year old youngster has already made his senior debut for Slaven Bilic’s men during a Europa League tie with Astra Giurgiu back in August.

Great news he has shown he is excellent at u23 level and even looked good when he played for the first team, can’t remember if it was pre-season or Europa League anyway a good prospect so lets hope half a season the Coventry helps him improve further.
