Hammer says sorry

Angelo Ogbonna has taken to X – previously Twitter of course – to send a heartfelt apology to the fans after making a shocking mistake against TSC last night.

The veteran central defender was caught dithering on the ball for the opening goal as TSC took the lead.

Thanks to Mo Kudus it didn’t last long as we went on to win 3-1 ut it truly was a dreadful error by the 33 year old who looked slow during the 90 minutes.

However, Oggy being Oggy he was quick to hold his hands up afterwards and said in a tweet:

Apologies for my mistake ! We keep going.

He is of course forgiven and it will be interesting to see the manager’s response in fture games.
