Hammer suffers injury blow

On loan Hammer Nikola Vlasic was subbed at half time in the game between Croatia as the clash finished in a  0-0 draw.

Vlasic is currently on loan to Italian club Torino this season who are still making up their minds whether they will take him permanently.

There are no details of the injury he suffered in a match where he was denied a great chance by impressive Nayef Aguerd’s block – an incident we have reported elsewhere.

Torino has a €13m (£11.2m) option to buy the player at the end of the season and not the €15m (£13m) or £15m often quoted in Italian reports.

West Ham is currently subsiding his wages to the tune of fifteen percent worth around £42,000 per month.

The club and David Moyes in particular will be keen to learn full details of the injury he suffered against Morocco as they plan ahead for the winter window transfer business
