Hammer to fly to Rome

|

Hammer Felipe Anderson is expected to fly to Rome today to start his long awaited transfer to Lazio according to latest reports from Italy.

The 28-year-old is likely to be missing from West Ham squads in Northampton and Leyton Orient this evening for the pre-season double header.

He was an unused substitute at Dundee FC last Friday and cut a lonely figure in the stands as the only outfield player not to see any minutes on the pitch.

The latest reports claim that the transfer fee that West Ham will received has increased to five million Euros which equates to £4.3m, if true that is almost double what was first reported.

The Brazilian player maker will sign a four year contract with his former club on reduced wages he earned in East London.

West Ham are thought to have inserted a 50% sell on clause into the deal for any profit Lazio make in the future.

The Hammers will save over £4m on the wage bill from the £34m player that signed under Manuel Pellegrini in July 2018.

There must be a photo somewhere of him standing on the pitch with his hands on hips, taken a few seconds after being dispossessed, not bothering to attempt to win the ball back before it nestles in the back of our net. There were plenty of opportunities for that photo to be taken in the 2019/20 season. I can’t wait to see the back of him. Talent or no talent. He’s lazy and not prepared to knuckle down to EPL football. The same accusations were levelled at him from certain quarters of the Italian sports media, according to an Italian mate of mine, prior to the widespread shock that he would be moving on for big money.

Do i feel sorry for Anderson when i see that photo……nope!
The guy has bundles of talent which he showed in his first few seasons at west ham but after that for some reason he looked like he wasn’t that bothered.
Porto probably saw the same attitude and that’s why he came back to west ham.
We have a squad now that will fight for the colours and Anderson doesn’t fit that bill anymore.

      Totally agree…….
I do believe that it was all about the money and that he’s a fraud (not the first one that we have had at this club either).
