Domingos Quina is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Sheffield United ahead of a loan move to Bramall Lane. The West Ham midfielder, aged 17, is thought to be travelling to South Yorkshire after being granted permission to join Chris Wilder’s side. Quina has made three appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side and, despite being born in Guinea-Bissau, represents Portugal at youth level.

Quina attracted interest from Arsenal, who offered a contract to him before he joined West Ham on a contract until 2019.

He has represented Portugal at U17, U18 and U19 level and was part of the team that won the 2016 UEFA European U17 Championships.

  1. of all the clubs they will su us as soon as he gets injured

  2. I’m actually happy we’ve loaned him out as he’s a real promising player was rumoured arsenal wanted him let’s just hope the blades don’t sue us again

  3. Yeah whatever we may think of McCabe / Warnock Sheffield Utd is a good footballing club, most of their fans were pretty reasonable about the whole Tevez affair and blamed their own clubs players for not winning the points rather than us.

  4. Be nice for them to be paying us for a change.

  5. Its a good move and should he seen as a positive that a Champo club want to take a 17yr old on loan.He clearly has talent.

  6. Chris Wilder as done great w Sheffield Utd won Promtion to Championship w 1st place and points to spare .
Wilder in a good Championship club that is competing will be a good place for Quina to make his mark and get some good experience

  7. I am sure the move will be very good for him and us in the long run, but who will play for us this season?
Unless we sign a few players in the next few hours, we won’t have much left to choose from.
