Hammer Ward-Prowse steps out

|

West Ham United’s new signings James Ward-Prowse and Edson Álvarez hit the Rush Green training pitches with their new teammates yesterday (Tuesday) as they began to settle into their east London surroundings.

The pair joined David Moyes’ squad for their drills as they prepare for Sunday’s home Premier League opener against Chelsea in what will represent pretty tough debuts for them.

Like the Hammers the Blues drew their first game of the season against Liverpool – the same as ours at Bournemouth last weekend

The Hammers are targeting three points from their first London derby of the campaign, after Jarrod Bowen’s opener ensured that we took a share of the points

Edson Alvaraz again seems unlikely to make his first appearance for the club after not having had any serious pre-season training.

However, all fingers will be crossed for a result against Chelsea as we bid to get the season off to a top start.
