Report: Hammers deal has bitten the dust

Hammers admit Osman “gamble” got “out of control”

West Ham have this afternoon admitted that the Ibrahim Osman switch from Nordsjlland FC got completely out of control and can’t happen as things stand writes !

The player was believed to be ready to join the Hammers until all sorts of problems raised their heads.

Initially it was believed that the Irons were short on the fee by £2m – £3 million with the Danish club wanting £18 million for the teenager whose stats as things stand probably leave something to be desired anyway.

But then an agency issue arose which threw the entire situation into total confusion with two representatives claimed to be looking after Osman’s interests.

And one of the was of them was demanding going for half of the fee the clubs were allegedly attempting to agree at £7 million.

A Hammers insider made the position clear exclusively to Claret and Hugh earlier this afternoon declaring: ” It all got completely out of control.

“Both the agents demands, and those of the club,  were too high for a player who  won’t be ready for six to 12 months anyway and was always going to be a gamble.

The player is in dispute with ex agent agent as well so it all became an impossible to get the deal done!”
