According to talkSPORT, West Ham United want to sign Manchester United striker Anthony Martial.
It appears that talks are at an early stage and the Iron’s have asked to be kept informed on Martial’s situation and club insiders have told Claret and Hugh that further players could arrive before the window closes.
The 27 years old Frenchman is available for about £15m but is also on insane wages, 200k per week so we can rate the chances of him coming to us at no higher than moderate!
Yes, he ticks the supremo’s boxes being an experienced Premier League player , he has a reasonable hit rate – 62 goals in nearly 200 games for the Manchester club. But is he really the sort of player we want?
There are many other options out there and hopefully Mr Steidten will have more of a say in such matters, as this looks and sounds like a Moyes hopeful.
