Hammers aim to keep Adrian

|

AdrianWest Ham are ready to offer Adrian an improved deal under their two year option following his fine end of season displays.

Adrian’s return has seen the team enjoy three straight clean sheets and although the club will be in the market for a new keeper, Darren Randolp is likely to be the main sufferer.

The Irons have a two year option on Randolph and are determined to keep him happy with an improved deal realising there is interest from Everton at home and Malaga abroad.

Many inside the club were stunned that the No 2 was kept between the sticks for so long and it may have made the contract negotiations with the keeper more difficult than they needed to be.

However, we were told: “We have the option and we are keen to get this thing sorted out quickly – we forsee no problems.”

You say two year option on Randolph in the article Hugh.

    Adrian is a great keeper!

It’s a pity Billic never bought Adrian back earlier as they need to know if he is our keeper for next season. As it is he has 2 more matches to make his case.

I think he is. I’d sell Randy and get a top young keeper. Forget Pickford Hart and Bergivic they won’t happen. Get a young back up.
