West Ham will add another £630,000 to their earnings from the Europa Cup should they beat Rapid Vienna at the London Stadium tonight (Thursday).

After the victory over Dinamo Zagreb it means they will have raised 1.2 million from the competition thus far besides being a step closer to topping the group assuming they collect the three points.

This is on top of the £2.94m  the club is awarded for qualifying in the first place giving them a total of  just over £4 million.

That doesn’t represent clear profit however, as the manager and players have bonuses for European qualifican and success written into their contract.

Should the Hammers go on to win the competition outright they would pick up £8.6 million or as runners up the reward would be £4.6 million.
