Alvarez/Kudus signings cause Ajax sacking turmoil

|

The arrival of former Ajax stars Edson Alvarez and Mo Kudus has thrown the Dutch club into total turmoil resulting in the sacking of the man who sold the duo to the Hammers.

We grabbed the pair for an astonishing £72 million – over £30 million less than we sold Declan for to Arsenal – which retrospectively is pretty amazing business.

And the guy who agreed the deals at Ajax has now been fired as a result as chaos has gripped the club and saw their last game abandoned per Hammers News.

Ajax  have announced they have terminated the contract of Director of Football Sven Mislintat with immediate effect.

It was our new technical director Tim Steidten who negotiated for the pair and was pictured aboard a private jet bringing Alvarez back to the east end.

The sacking comes with the club in 14th place in their league after a statement said the ‘lack of broad support within the organisation is the reason behind this decision’.

And the game between Ajax against defending league champions Feyenoord was abandoned as fans threw flares onto the pitch and police used tear gas to disperse rioters outside the stadium as their team trailed 3-0.
