West Ham United are wasting no time under their new manager Julen Lopetegui, establishing a brand new backroom team to oversee a summer transfer window expected to be a hive of activity.
Technical Director Tim Steidten, empowered with greater control over transfers than under his predecessor David Moyes, has assembled a team he believes will be instrumental in the club’s rebuild.
Moritz Steidten, Tim’s brother and a seasoned scout with Werder Bremen on his resume, joins the fold as Chief Scout.
Maximilian Hahn, a rising star known for his data-driven approach to recruitment, comes on board as Head of Technical Recruitment and Analysis. Hahn brings experience from his previous roles as assistant manager at Darmstadt 98 and Dynamo Dresden.
Completing the revamped recruitment team is Dylan Curnell, a West Ham fan who has steadily risen through the ranks since joining the academy as a performance analyst in 2018. Curnell’s dedication and expertise have earned him the promotion to First Team Recruitment Analysis.
The revamped team is already working fast, with reports from Exwesthamemployee suggesting that talks are progressing smoothly with Brazilian wonderkid Wesley Gassova, a 19-year-old forward from Corinthians, and the more experienced Fabricio Bruno, a 28-year-old centre-back currently playing for Flamengo and a recent addition to the Brazilian national team.
With a new manager at the helm and a hungry recruitment team eager to prove themselves, We can expect a summer transfer window filled with activity and the promise of a revamped squad for the upcoming season.
We will see what happens got to give new manager a chance to make his mark, and hopefully we can push on from where DM and his team left us. FairPlay to DM he did an excellent job but took us as far as he could. Cmon you irons hereโs to a great 24/25 season ๐

Thank the Lord, finally we are doing some recruitment before the final day of the window. Paqueta presumably not going to Man City although both of them subject to F.A. charges.
I’m personally relieved to have a new manager as we need a change of direction. Moyes tried his best but everything now needs an upgrade.
Anyone know how to spell hallelujah? But I should also be wary of being careful what I wish for? I’m west ham thru and thru and also a fan of football hopefully the new guy old loopy can combine the two. More ticky tacky and less tacky tacky, hopefully this is the beginning of a long frog and toad of success, the tell tale sign will be if we can stay up beyond the Christmas decorations coming down, COYI.and congrats to scamacca?
Hallelujah !!! โโฝ๏ธ๐ฅ๐
