Hammers at home in Third Round of FA Cup

|

FA CupThe Irons have landed a home draw against Wolves in the third round of te FA Cup.

We were the third team out of the hat and it was former striker John Hartson who pulled our number 43 from the canister.

Wolves – currently sitting in 14th place in the Championship – will see the match as a distraction from their mediocre League season so far.

But this is a game the Irons will fancy for as the saying goes “anybody at home will do.”

The midlands outfit have only played us twice in the competition and the Hammers came out on top both times. In 1910 we beat them 5-1 away and 94 years later in 2004 we won 3-1 via goals from Brian Deane, Marlon Harewood and David Connolly.
