West Ham are again being linked with a potential move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The centre-back was reportedly a target throughout the summer transfer window, although he eventually ended up signing a contract extension in Florence.
The Hammers, of course, moved on swiftly and signed Kurt Zouma from Chelsea instead.
But the Irons are now once again being linked with a swoop to bring Milenkovic into the club after Zouma was ruled out for around three months, while Angelo Ogbonna is also out for the remainder of the season.
Calciomercato reports that the Hammers could snap the centre-back up for around £12.8m in January.
He has played 13 times in Serie A this season, scoring on the opening day against Roma, and remains a key member of their squad.
His new contract was not a lengthy one, though, as it only runs until 2023, meaning that he will be entering the final year of his contract in the summer.
It remains to be seen if any kind of bid is lodged but we know that David Moyes is desperate to sign a new defender in January.
