Hammers ballot system explained

|

West Ham have announced that supporters who fully paid for their season tickets or Club London Stadium membership will be automatically entered into a ballot run by Ticket Master next week with lucky season tickets informed of success on Thursday 3rd December.

Any season ticket holder who chose option 3 and paid 30%, any supporter with a registered address overseas or in a Tier 3 lockdown area will also be excluded.

Anyone shielding, part of a vulnerable group, caring for someone else or have tested positive or in self-isolating can also opt-out of the ballot by completing an online form by Monday 30th November.

The ballot is expected to be distributed fairly across different ticket bands including Bondholders, Corporate hospitality, accessibility, 1966 and bands 1-5.

Children will not be selected in isolation of adults but this general ballot will not allow the option of selecting supporter bubbles to be formed, meaning individuals could be selected from a group.

All tickets are non-transferable and supporters must carry a photo ID and agree to a code of conduct via email before returning to the London Stadium as a condition.

Sponsors, partners and West Ham staff will also be excluded from this ballot.

Anyone selected for the Manchester United ballot will be excluded from the ballot for future ballots until everyone has been selected.

With around 30,000 eligible ticket holders, each supporter has around a one in fifteen chance of being successful in this first ballot.
