According to a report from L’Équipe, West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are interested in Le Havre AC’s Étienne Youté Kinkoué. It seems that every time West Ham are linked with a player, they are either competing with Forest for his signature or trying to buy one of their players.

Le Havre desperately need to sell players to raise funds this summer. One player who is increasingly likely to leave is Youté Kinkoué. The former France youth international joined Le Havre, then in Ligue 2, in January 2023.

He arrived from Olympiacos, a club owned by the owners of Nottingham Forest. Consequently, the Premier League club is familiar with Youté Kinkoué and could make an attempt to sign him this summer. However, they may face competition from West Ham, who are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements.

West Ham are actively looking to sell captain Kurt Zouma and reluctantly accepting that Nayef Aguerd wishes to leave the club.
