West Ham Claret & Hugh Exclusive

A senior club source has rubbished recent reports claiming Nuno Espirito Santo is on the verge of the sack.

One of those reports comes from Jacob Steinberg in the Guardian who claims the board are unhappy with Nuno who they claim is considering a return to Wolves.

Steinberg said the board were baffled with the manager who was seen shaking hands and hugging Nottingham Forest players after the recent 2-1 Premier League loss. The Journalist and West Ham fan also claimed morale was low between Nuno and the players – a claim which has also been made elsewhere.

Claret & Hugh contacted our top source at the London Stadium, presenting some of the accusations. In particular, the continued speculation that Espirito Santo’s job was under threat should he lose to Tottenham Hotspurs next week.

The club source immediately dismissed these claims saying “It’s not true, so this mole is wrong, it’s him flying a kite!”

I think it is clear from January recruitment that NES is staying. DS, Mendes, Max Hahn & NES seem to have got a working relationship (that is important – Maresca, Amorim) going this January, also DS has had a nightmare time selecting managers since David Moyes (once bitten twice shy). I do not think the club want another punt and hope manager either & they have nobody trustworthy lined up. Nor do the club want yet another manager who comes in and says ‘I need my own players for my system of play’.

Not only that, but Earthy & Marshall have season loans no doubt under the direction of NES (planning ahead therefore), all pointing towards NES being at WHU come May in my humble opinion.

Sullivan doing his usual divide and rule. Throw some titbits to the media, deflect attention from him.
See the board are unhappy that Nuno went across to Forest players after game but also trying to spin that he is ‘distant’.
Time for this bs to end.

The irony of the mole being better qualified to run a football club and sully slates it. Useless. SULLIVAN OUT

Safe to say Steinberg is not too popular with the board. He only makes assumptions that anyone could make. That Nuno isn’t talking to certain players or offering them a way back in is completely obvious. You only have to look at Ward Prowse. Of course there are players who probably want Nuno out the door because they’re not getting a game. I doubt he’s very popular with marshall or earthy who hasn’t had a sniff. That the board are considering replacing Nuno. Of course they are. They’re not going to watch us losing game after game in an empty stadium without taking action.

Numo just has to go !
Wanting to sign Traore and sending Earthy out on loan ….
This Guy just isn’t right for West Ham ..
3-0 down at HT at Wolves and not getting your new Striker on for even 10 mins
    Playing Scarles at right back
Playing Kilman on the right side of the defence
Not playing Wiilson but PAC man as the striker
Falling out with so many players ….

Asset Stripping and administration to follow when we get relegated and Sullivan and the rest of the board will be nowhere to be seen….i laughably heard the other day someone trying to defend Sullivan claiming he was a West Ham fan…he never was or has been Cardiff is his club and he has had his eye on them once he has finished destroying us he will move onto them.

Mole or top source at London Stadium. My money’s on the mole as even the 🤡 must have realised it was a major mistake to appoint another goalkeeper as manager.

  • Macephtopheles says:

Chelsea and Man Utd are both outside chances of Champions League football (certainly European) and sack their managers.

We, on the other hand, are the filling in a relegation sandwich and have the top and bottom slices back to back in must-win games. We lose both and we, sorry, Sullivan, are like “We’re backing the manager! The signs are good it can be turned around!”

In this case, I hope whoever has that kite can tie it tightly round Nuno and Sullivan and get them both the hell out.

  • Jeeps says:

Mole might be flying a kite but Nuno and board are p!ss!ng in the wind.
Squad is shrinking with no signs of replacement.
Somebody must be answerable for these scatter brain decisions.
Still it avoids comments about playing youngsters.
21 days to go and heading for a reduced squad just like Moyes at end of his tenure.
There was a chance of having a stronger bench but not now.
Speculations and 30 year old replacements will grow.

    • Zahama says:

Flying a kite or not Nuno is odds on favorite – spurs away on the 17th is the new El Sackico
