Hammers can move into 12th tonight

West Ham can rise to 12th in the Premier League

Whilst us Irons fans were watching and celebrating an incredible victory by our under 18s at Arsenal there were a couple of other key games being played in the Premier League which affected the first team.

Wolves moved us above the Hammers into 13th place by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at Molineux which was enough to see them join Roy Hodgson’s team  on 37 points in 12th.

A Hammers victory over Liverpool tonight will see us move into that position with a superior goal difference to either the midlands club or the Londoners.

Down at the bottom Leicester City moved out of the bottom three with a 1-1 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.

It means they are now in 17th place and the Yorkshire outfit a place above them on 30 points, It’s still tight but a decent result against the Reds tonight should see the Hammers more than clear of relegation worries.
