Hammers chase out of favour Gunner

West Ham are one of two Premier League clubs chasing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, according to numerous reports.

Academy graduate Nelson has made just seven appearances for the Gooners this season, only three of them starts, having suffered with multiple injuries during this campaign.

Despite his reduced playing time, the attacking midfielder has shown his quality, coming off the bench to score twice in the 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in October.

Unfortunately for Nelson he has found himself down the pecking order at the Emirates, and has dropped even further behind with the arrival of Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

If he does depart the Emirates, he will not be short of suitors, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that two EPL sides and at least four overseas clubs are interested in signing Nelson on a free transfer.

Additionally, other reports claim that The Hammers are one of those interested parties, although retention of our Premier League status will be crucial to attracting anyone.
