West Ham United are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments at rivals Arsenal, with six Gunners players linked to a move across London.

The news comes as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta prepares for a significant squad overhaul this summer. According to journalist Ryan Taylor of The Mirror, the Gunners have identified seven first-team players as expendable in order to fund Arteta’s ambitious transfer plans.

Intriguingly, six of the seven players on Arsenal’s chopping block are positions West Ham are actively looking to strengthen. The Hammers are in the market for full-backs, a striker, a creative midfielder, and a left winger. West Ham’s need for a homegrown contingent also coincides with the status of five of the players Arsenal are willing to sell.

West Ham will likely prioritise signing a backup goalkeeper, with youngster Joseph Anang set to leave on a free transfer. While Aaron Ramsdale is one of the available goalkeepers, it would be likely that he would seek a starting role elsewhere.

It is more likely that West Ham’s interest is more likely focused on Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, and Reiss Nelson. These players not only address specific weaknesses in the West Ham squad but also fulfill the homegrown player quota, offering a financial benefit.

We have been previously linked with several of these Arsenal players, hinting at a continued interest from the Irons. With the transfer window opening on June 14th, it won’t be long before we know if West Ham will act on this reported interest.

West Ham will be eager to capitalize on Arsenal’s squad clearout. While it remains to be seen if any of these deals materialise, the upcoming transfer window promises to be a period of significant activity.

Personally I don’t think we should go anywhere near something with arse in its name, we don’t need their rejects , I find them and their manager arrogant **** heads . I hate arsenal and I’m standing up. Although Tottenham Hotspur are a close second, I’d rather support Millwall than arsenal and that’s saying something

Aside from Tierney (seemingly always crocked) and Smith Rowe, who i rate, they don’t add much to what we already have. Tavares is laughable, even.
