West Ham’s owners are in no hurry to start clawing back their summer expenditure by selling players in the next window.

As reported earlier Pedro Obiang has been told he is going nowhere and summer speculation over Michail Antonio and Crystal Palace has now been put firmly to bed.

A CandH source revealed: the club’s aim was to reach a position quickly where it had two strong alternatives in each position and that neither of those two will be allowed to leave.

Despite over £100 million being spent the club – with a new bank overdraft guaranteed personally by Gold and Sullivan – the club are relaxed about the financial commitment.

First refusals on Fernandes and Hugill have been offered to loan clubs Fiorentina and Middlesbrough but beyond that there are no players on any exit list.
