Hammers close in on the big three

|

GiroudWest Ham have cleared the London Stadium decks of everything other than “striker business” as the summer transfer season gets underway.

Despite talk of Joe Hart and various midfielders interesting the club Slaven Bilic has his mind totally focused on front men.

And we understand the club are ready to bringing in two front men with Michy Batshuayi, Kelechi Iheancho and Olivier Giroud the three big options.

But the club have learned that Chelsea are more interested in allowing the Belgian international out on loan rather than on a permanent basis.

A Hammers source told us: “It’s a tricky situation at the moment because Chelsea are very much in the market place themselves and want to settle their  own departures and arrivals before doing business.

However, the Hammers interest in Iheanacho and Giroud is very live and real with talks going on between agents.”

He added: “We want two front men with one definitely on permanent terms and the other the same or on loan. We get a little closer every day.”

There’s no other business in mind although were a speedy winger to become available that may be of some interest to us.”

Speedy winger available is that Henry Onyekuru!
    Subtle hint right there!

That’s all good news that they are focusing on the front line. Who that ends up as is a different matter but hopefully that’ll put an end to those tiresome and tedious links to just about all and sundry who’s ever kicked a ball.
Begs the question now not so much which 2 would we like? But more like which 2 are the more feasible to join us?
Personally i would like any 2 from Batshuayi, Onyekurru or Kelechi but lets see who they sign?

Forget Kelechi unless on loan, no thanks to Giroud so any two from Bats, Martial or Oyekurru.

Can’t see anyway we would get Martial, I’d be more than happy with Bats and Oyekurru.
