Hammers could come in for England striker

England Under-21 captain Eddie Nketiah could move to West Ham this summer.

The Atheltic claims that  Arsenal wants to hand the player a new contract, despite the fact he had a disappointing 2020-21 campaign.

But the report adds that Nketiah is unlikely to sign up, as he has concerns over his first-team chances and thinks he may have more luck elsewhere.

The striker scored just two Premier League goals in six starts last season and is one of a number of Arsenal players tipped to move on.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Folarin Balogun and Gabriel Martinelli are all on long-term contracts. That could lead to the Gunners cashing in on the likes of Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette to fund new signings.

The young striker showed off his ability at Elland Road during his five-month loan but it’s not thought that Marcelo Bielsa will pursue a permanent deal for the player.

Nketiah has been linked with interest from David Moyes and also from Brighton.

  1. All very nice but untill Moyes sighn’s on the dotted line everything else is pure speculation .
In fact Moyes sighning on the bottom line is in itself speculative . After news he has agreed all we need is a signature and confirmation . It’s a little unfair to treat the Fans this way . And especially unfair on any player who is still undecided .
