Hammers could get huge transfer opportunity

West Ham may get the chance to bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the January transfer window.

The Manchester United defender has fallen way down the pecking order at Old Trafford and appears to be available ahead of the winter window.

The Hammers were heavily linked with a move to sign Wan-Bissaka in the summer but did not manage to get a deal over the line.

Still, it appears that the former Crystal Palace man could now be available in January, either on loan or as a permanent deal.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has confirmed on Sky: “He doesn’t seem to be in Ten Hag’s plans. He has played four minutes in all football competitions so far.

“If they can find suitors for Wan-Bissaka, then it’s likely they might go into the market for a right back.”

The Irons could well be in the market to sign a new right-back in January, particularly if Vlad Coufal decides his time at West Ham is up and looks to move on.

Ben Johnson has also struggled to convince in the position, so boss David Moyes may be tempted to sanction a move for the United ace.
