Hammers could still sign striker if needed

|

While David Moyes decided against signing a striker during the winter transfer window he still has the option of signing a free agent at anytime.

The said, he couldn’t land the striker targets he wanted in January saying he would rather wait until the summer.

On Josh King, who went to Everton on loan, he said ‘I just had to make a decision on several players. I wouldn’t want to discuss any one player.’

According to a new report from Italian media website Il Messaggero, free agent Diego Costa has been offered to West Ham.

Costa is looking a two-and-a-half-year deal worth around £13m over its duration which equates to around £104,000 per week. He has had interest from clubs in Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia but no club has yet agreed terms.

With no club, Costa could perhaps be persuaded to sign a short term contract to put himself in the shop window in the Premier League but the reality is that the manager appears to have made his mind up against signing a forward.

Hardly surprising  after what we saw from Jesse Lingard last night!

Costa absolutely not. Would be against all the good things happening at the moment.Out of the age range and far too pricey in my opinion. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo DEFINATELY noooooooooooooooooooooo. No more last paydays for very little.
