Hammers cruise it

West Ham cruised to a comfortable win over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The Hammers were in control throughout the 90 minutes and recorded a 2-0 victory over the Austrian side to confirm top spot in the group.

It means the Irons will head straight through to the round of 16 and the victory was more than well-earned.

Throughout the game, David Moyes’ men had a real measure of control and were two goals to the good come half-time.

Andriy Yarmolenko was key to the victory, scoring the first with a back-post header after Nikola Vlasic sent a floated cross into the box.
