Hammers discuss summer window speculation

Zaba – on his way this summer

West Ham are in no mood to discuss any inward our outward plans they may hold as the summer transfer window approaches.

And that comes down to the simple matter of which league we are playing in net season.

Unlike most of us,  the end of the lock down is not something the club is prepared to consider and as a result the decision making progress on who comes in and who remains is not on the agenda.

The only certainties are that Pablo Zabaleta and Carlos Sanchez will be on their way as their contracts run out and that manager David Moyes looks ready to make the Championship his main area of operation.

Felipe Anderson’s possible departure – which we reported several days ago having made the suggestion some time back – is finally being reported by The Mirror and other ‘informed ‘ sources as their new story!

It could happen of course – as could others, along with new arrivals – but the Hammers insist that it’s impossible to make any firm statements concerning anything at this point.

One well placed insider said: ” The talk is endless but how we are supposed to even think about these things at this point is mesmerising.

“The financial scene situation faced by all clubs is of deep concern and remaining as stable as possible is the major consideration.

“And of course – should the season continue as seems to be the Premier League’s aim – we will see who stays up and who goes down.”
