Hammers dominate Election searches

|

DCIt has been revealed that the Number one Google search for Conservative Party Leader David Cameron during the 2015 General Election campaign is “Does David Cameron support West Ham?”  The second most Google searched term was “Does David Cameron support Aston Villa?”

During an election speech he encouraged people to support the Hammers declaring “Of course, I’d rather you supported West Ham.” He later apologised to Aston Villa fans saying:

“All I can explain is I went past the West Ham stadium the day before and I just said the word West Indies in my speech and I was making a point about the cricket Test and all the rest of it. I meant to say Aston Villa and I am profoundly embarrassed.”

It’s good to see West Ham are taking such a prominent role in the General election.
