Hammers double victory charge on way

|

By Hughie Southon

Edson Alvarez is out of tomorrow evening’s clash against TSC because of suspension following a red card in his former club Ajax’s  last Euro match of 22/23.

It will make little difference to the position tomorrow anyway with the manager set to name a near all change team as he gives players short of minutes a chance against the Serbian unknowns.

He is all set to name a really strong bench should things not go the way most expect in front of what will now possibly be a 40,000 plus strong crowd.

Alvarez would have been a bonus of course but given he was also withdrawn with fatigue in the Manchester City game he needs a rest before the key Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield.

That’s one to really look forward after a great performance against Manchester City and we could see the week out with a Euro and Premier League victory double.

Really big European winners like Liverpool are not afraid to blood young players from the start. I hope Moyes has the courage to rest Mikey by playing Divin from the start. Let’s see him in a real test and develop him, not a late sub, Danny Ings can do that
