Hammers, Everton. Palace eye top midfield talent

West Ham could very easily be encouraged by reports this morning that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is looking to make a loan move out of Chelsea this winter.

The player  made a considered decision to remain at Stamford Bridge in the summer and take his chance of a Blues breakthrough.

That hasn’t worked out and he is now reported to want out with Palace, Everton and ourselves likely to be interested in giving him a temporary home.

The Mail reports that Arsenal too could be in the running for the player Arsenal if they sell Aaron Ramsey in the next window.

The 22 year old has dropped below Ross Barkley in the pecking order for both club and country and is unlikely to displace Maurizio Sarri signings Mateo Kovacic and Jorghino.

Sarri said about the young England international earlier in the season: ‘I think he needs to improve from the tactical point of view.’

However, the Hammers are known to be looking for midfield cover and Loftus-Cheek would have to be under consideration.

  1. That would be a awesome move if you called pull it off. I think he would shine with us. Good nice for him and us.

  2. Loftus Cheek ; Yes … Cahill ; a definite yes … Nasri ; maybe … Defoe ; absolutely not .

  3. If Ross Barclay is preferred to you something is wrong with your club, a loan to buy deal would allow us to let Obiang go at the end of the season if he still wants too !!!
