Hammers eye Juve striker

Juve striker for the Irons?

The latest piece of transfer news is that West Ham are looking at the 23 year old Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic.

Nevertheless ,there is a lot of hear say around this particular rumour.

It is likely that Juventus will want a return on the £66m they shelled out last season, so he will not be a cheap acquisition.

He has previously been liked with PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea so is hardly an unknown quantity.

It appears that La Vecchia Signora are having a few problems of their own on the cash front as they too have fallen foul of UEFA and the FFP rules and are also sitting on the naughty step.

The Italian giants may be forced to sell, as they need outgoing players to raise money for incoming talent and cannot be seen to incur the wrath of UEFA.

Also, because Juventus have been banned from European competition because of various financial illegalities, we can offer him European football, albeit in the Europa League.

He is definitely a class act, and I applaud the board for being ambitious but north of £60m is a bit steep.

Moyes “Not my type of player. For that type of money he is too young, not a set piece specialist, not defensive enough,, not the type of player who runs himself into the ground. No we wont sign him.” LOL..
