Hammers eye new back-up goalkeeper

West Ham are tracking both Darren Randoplh and Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic who is near the end of a loan deal with Azerbaijani club Qarabag.

The club have decided that a new No 2 is required as back up to Lukasz Fabianski and the Cherries stopper may be a marginal favourite although talks are believed to be continuing with the former Hammer’s agents.

Begovic’s contract expires on New Years Eve ad is keen to join an English club but whether he would want to live in the long Fab shadow is another question altogether.

The Bosnian fell out of favour with Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe after a series of disappointing performances for Bournemouth after signing from Chelsea in 2017.

Randolph made a £5 million move to Boro in 2017 and the Championship club would want their money back on a stopper who never seriously over-impressed when he replaced Adrian during his spell at the club.

  1. What is the situation / timeline regarding David Martin’s injury?

  2. ??? Yesterday it was reported that we have less than nothing to invest in a paper thin squad..
Now it’s back to signing another gk who cant even get in a Bournemouth team or Randolph who wasn’t seen as good enough last time he was at West Ham.
Way to go Hammers ‘nearly reach the sky’, the only we’ll reach is Sky TV
