Hammers eye three more Prague boys

Slavia Prague and West Ham have a deepening connection after the signings of Vlad Coufal and Tomas Soucek and now it seems that there is interest in THREE more players on the books at the Czech club!

A new report from Czech outlet Ruik claims that the Hammers are running the rule over a number of potential acquisitions from the Europa League quarter-finalists.

Tomas and Slav will be thrilled

First up is Abdallah Sima, the right winger-cum-striker who can score and assist and has been tearing defences apart this season. But we knew that one already!

Also linked is the goalkeeper Ondrej Kular, another one we knew about, although he is currently injured, sustaining a fractured skull after a horrific clash with Rangers star Kemar Roofe in their ill-fated tie.

But perhaps the newest piece of news comes regarding Peter Olayinka.

Olayinka is a left winger and a Nigeria international with one cap to his name.

This season, he has made 33 appearances in all competitions and has scored 11 goals, while laying on five assists. Three of those goals have come in the Europa League, against Bayer Leverkusen, OGC Nice, and Rangers.

The three are likely to be in action on Thursday against Arsenal, in a tie they hold a slight advantage in after their 1-1 draw at the Emirates in the first leg.

  1. Maybe GSB are going to have to change the badge again…..WHU above and PRAGUE below (instead of London);-)

  2. Sima would be a great signing but I suspect a few ‘bigger’ clubs will be sniffing around him. I must be honest, I don’t know much about the other two guys but Slavia haven’t let us down so far!

  3. we should just bring back diangana, should be available for cheap

better than benrahma and will do whatever moyes asks

    • Diangana 17 appearances for west Brom 1 goal – perfect for us. Should never have been sold for £18 million sensational stats

      • perhaps you haven’t seen much of diangana, if you have then it’s a shame you lack even a cursory understanding of the game or how to judge stats

        • btw he was sold for ~12m

lets not pretend 5-6m of bonuses are being paid out

yet we spent 25m on an inferior benni when we already had a better option on the books, on peanuts for wages, a far better number 10, more intelligent on the ball, faster, better team player, passer and for me just as good as benni when taking on his man

both benni and daingana lack the defensive qualities to make them a perfect match for moyes but diangana would have had a brighter future than benni at west ham, at least he can play a number 10 and has more potential, benni will be gone in less than 12 months if we are lucky

diangana was the biggest mistake of our season which will be proven in time, only a fool would suggest the story ends here

        • Yeah real shame ennit. I’d be very interested in your interpretation given how amazingly intelligent you seem to be on the subject. Always ready to learn from a great brain

  4. The best Slavia Prague player is Nicolae Stanciu. Now he is something special. So why are we not linked with him?
