Hammers eyeing another Brazilian

West Ham are eyeing a potential move to sign Tete from Shakhtar Donetsk, but face serious Premier League competition, according to a new report.

Tete is currently on loan at Lyon and Calciomercato reports that there is interest in securing his signature from the Hammers, Brighton, and Leicester.

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi managed Tete at Shakhtar and is said to be interested in a reunion in the January transfer window.

Tete is out of contract in the summer, and is also facing up to the fact that he has fallen out of favour under Laurent Blanc at Lyon.

He has made a total of 13 appearances this season and has scored five goals, while laying on three assists.

No fee is attached to the story but all three English clubs are said to be eyeing a potential deal at the turn of the year, as are Italian giants AC Milan.

Tete is said to be open to a move in January.
