Hammers face French side in Austria

West Ham will face French Ligue Un side Angers SCO in the second of their pre-season fixtures in in their Austrian tour this summer.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men will take on Les Scoïstes on Friday 3rd August at 6.30pm CEST (5.30pm BST) at the Das.Goldberg-Stadion in Grödig.

The Hammers’ clash with Angers will follow on from their Betway Cup tie with Mainz as the Hammers finalise their preparations for the Premier League campaign in Austria.

Angers have been in the top flight of French football since 2015 and reached the final of the Coupe de France in 2017, losing narrowly to Paris Saint-Germain.

The meeting with the French side will be West Ham’s final pre-season fixture of the summer, following on from matches against FC Winterthur, Wycombe Wanderers, Preston North End, Aston Villa, Ipswich Town and Mainz.
