Hammers face Lingard competition

|

West Ham face competition from three clubs for the signing of Jesse Lingard. The former Manchester United player has been training with the Hammers for five weeks and was expected to sign a contract.

Lingard has impressed during training at Rush Green and a short term deal looked to be on the cards. There have been glowing reports of the players attitude commitment and ability from coaching staff and players alike.

The player has been conducting himself with humility, which has come as a surprise to many. The serial TikToker has also vowed to reduce his social media presence in an effort to prove his commitment to the Hammers.

Unfortunately, news of his availability as a free signing has not gone unnoticed. Premier League rivals Wolves are understood to be preparing a bid for the player. There is also believed to be interest from Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.

Whilst there may be a reluctance on the players part to work overseas. Remaining in the midlands, where he was stationed with Nottingham Forest last season may prove tempting.
